US Politics

Taking Control of the Agenda

Taking Control of the Agenda

Any hard hitting message based on a provable truth is far more effective than smear.  In politics you have to control the message and utilise as many supportive outlets as possible to distribute it. Real politics is a blood sport and the days are running out.

At some stage soon, Barack, and I’m sure he knows this, is going to have to challenge the myths and claims of John McCain, past and present. Rattle him with the facts, force a hotheaded reaction and control the agenda. He will need to expose McCain for the dangerous and deceitful man he really is, and what his election would mean for the United States and the world at large.

Although McCain has been in the Senate since 1987, people don’t really know the real McCain. He has promoted an image. That image is tarnished, but it needs to be completely stripped. Personally I would begin by painting McCain as the crazy Dr Strangelove character he threatens to be. Remember the movie and the role played by Peter Sellers? This is no movie.

Imagine a warmonger like John McCain with his finger on the atomic button?

Scare ’em? Sure? I’d frighten the you know what out of people. Wake them up. Obama has every right to pursue such a strategy. It is credible and based on a real possibility. McCain’s own words and history condemn him. Done well, it would be just about the only thing people would remember when going to vote. And that would be just for openers.

Images are remembered longer and stronger than words or policy details.

A  5 min video titled: Republicans The Military & McCain

Imagine if you were to use part of this material in advertisements including the promises from McCain about more wars. Watch the video, then ask yourself how would you feel about the future with McCain in the Oval office. If you agree with this message please email this story link far and wide. — http://www.tellingthoughts.com/us-politics/taking-control-of-the-agenda

  1. Great video John, very compelling and Scott Ritter is so on the money, we have to show the world that what we stand for is good and for the better of all, war and bombing Iran and other countries won’t prove to those who don’t like us that we’re any better than mass killers ourselves.

  2. All you have to do is play (in total) or only in parts, John McCain’s 2004 address at the Republican National Convention to see what a true war monger he is. Why has no one asked him, “If you knew then what we all know now, about the true facts before the lead up to the war with Iraq, would you have voted differently in the Senate”? Hillary Clinton and John Edwards have all had to answer that question…but not John McCain?? Why?

  3. When is John McCain going to be asked the question, “Just exactly what do you mean when you use the word, ‘victory’ with respect to the situation we are in in Iraq? It sounds like you mean to portray it all as somehow just as simplistic as the outcome of an NFL football game? Or is it an attempt to stir our patriotic subconscious to the image of Douglas MacAuthor accepting the sword of the Japanese Emperor on a war ship in the Pacific. Is this how simple this situation is?”

  6. Awesome video. People really need to see this as soon as possible. With McCain pulling ahead in the polls, it is imperative. We need candidates to undergo extensive physcological testing before running for offices of this caliber. I don’t think this man would pass one.

  7. This will reach more people and be more effective if you will rearrange to the following. Introduce Bush. Introduce McCain
Tie them together. Show the results of choosing them. I liked all your clips and the background music. I nearly clicked out with the pictures of the coffins. It is to early in the presentation. This is arranged for insiders not outsiders. To get to outsiders you need to get them to buy-in first. Here is Bush, McCain is the same, this is their results point made. Thanks for your very hard work. Now shorten and make it an ad.

Editor reply: Thank you for your comment. The video was produced by another party. It is used to remind people and support the narrative.

  8. Thank you for having this video up on your website. While it is highly disturbing to watch, it is very effective in its message. I will forward this on. McCain is a phony- we just can’t afford a McCain administration. My family (military) depends on this election- it is that serious!
