Ferraro / The White Wright

Ferraro is sending a coded message on behalf of Clinton to all women.

From Telling Thoughts

by John Hay

It would be easy to dismiss the outrageous remarks of Geraldine Ferraro as those issuing from someone who needs to see a psychiatrist in a hurry. Maybe she does need to spend some time on the couch. Judging by her interview with the New York Times as reported by CNN below, Ferraro hasn’t said anything we didn’t already know about her bitter and twisted views in her latest attack on Barack Obama. What we do know however, is that she wouldn’t be doing this without the  prior approval of her close friend and partner in crime – Hillary, in case we forget, Rodham Clinton.

The Clinton Strategy

Those familiar with the Clinton strategy understand this well. First consult with your attack dog about the message you want delivered and then have them await your signal. The timing is crucial, and the time this time, is now. The mission, shift the debate quickly back from the euphoria of 75,000 in Oregon for Obama, to the controversy about race, and disguise it as an issue about the women’s vote etc. Then make sure it is released through the New York Times and CNN Television first, to guarantee full coverage at no cost to the campaign. The final act in the sham is played out when Clinton denies any involvement. What’s new here?

There is one deeper darker purpose embedded in the Ferraro message.

In saying she would have difficulty voting for Obama if he is the nominee, Ferraro is sending a coded message on behalf of Clinton to all women. If Obama gets the Democratic nomination then her message decodes to “If its not Hillary – vote for McCain”. In the meantime Clinton will do her best to ensure that Obama is so badly undermined he might not prevail against McCain. This will be done by appearing to be supportive and attempting in the name of her supporters to gain a place within his inner circle. If she is successful it could clear her way for another run in 2012.  She is only interested in power, and to get it, she will stop at nothing.

The Women’s Vote

Let’s be clear on a few points. Ferraro is no authority on how to campaign and neither is Clinton – as her record in this contest shows.  Obama will win women in greater numbers once he is the nominee. In fact the move to Obama is already on across all demographics. While feminist activists like Ferraro are determined to see her woman in the Oval Office, voting for the person who will do the best job as President will be more important to most women in the general election.

Wrong Vanguard for Women

Clinton has shown that a woman can campaign and gain support. Hopefully what will be understood is that you cannot win a nomination to contest the Presidency simply based on your gender or who you happened to marry. One thing history will record is that she disappointed many women by running a poorly conceived and managed campaign which for all intents and purposes is broke, and managed to lose a number of key people along the way. There is no barrier to a woman becoming President, providing that they have a record of integrity and proven ability. History will show that Clinton was not the ideal vanguard for this venture. However the public mindset is open to the possibiltity, and it will happen with the right candidate.

The Fat Lady Not Singing – Yet

Two superdelegates have already ignored their state’s Primary results as exampled by Senator Byrd of West Virginia when he endorsed Obama on Monday, together with another West Virginia senator, Jay Rockefeller who endorsed earlier in the year. Further proof that all Superdelegates and delegates can change their mind and under pressure it can work both ways. The political facts of life. The Clintons are working on that premise.

Therefore nothing is locked up – or certain, and people need to be aware the Clintons will work right up to the final vote in Denver to try to steal the nomination. Their next move will be an attempt to get the DNC Rules & By Laws committee to admit ineligible votes for Clinton from Michigan and Florida in such a way as to disadvantage Obama, who in playing by the rules, rules which Clinton now wants to change, did not contest those states.

 GOP want Clinton

This race is still a work in progress. Only by trickery can the Clintons stop Barack Obama getting to the White House – Not John McCain. Conversely McCain would defeat Clinton if she is the nominee and national polls agree. Just another reason why the Republican machine is keen to target Obama. Clinton’s scalp is what they would like. It’s the only way they can win.

Ferraro suggests she may not vote for Obama

Posted: 02:33 PM ET

Ferraro is a supporter of Clinton's presidential campaign.

Ferraro is a supporter of Clinton’s presidential campaign.

(CNN) — Geraldine Ferraro, the outspoken former Democratic vice presidential candidate and a supporter of Hillary Clinton’s White House bid, told the New York Times she may not vote for Barack Obama should he be the party’s nominee.

Ferraro, a former member of Clinton’s finance committee who resigned that post earlier this year after making comments many viewed as racially offensive, also said she thinks the Illinois senator has been “terribly sexist” over the course of the presidential campaign.

The comments appear to underscore the potential difficulty Obama may have courting some women voters in the fall — many of whom have said they feel a solidarity with the New York senator over the barriers Clinton faces in her bid to become the first female president.

Ferraro has not shied away from discussing the impact of race and gender throughout the Democratic presidential campaign. In March, the former congresswoman told a California newspaper the chief reason Obama’s candidacy was successful was because he was black.

“If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position,” she told The Daily Breeze. “And if he was a woman, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.”

Ferraro also said Clinton had been the victim of a “sexist media.”

Obama later called those comments “ridiculous,” and Clinton said she disagreed with them.

Ferraro maintained her comments were not racist, but ultimately resigned from the Clinton campaign after they caused an uproar.

“The Obama campaign is attacking me to hurt you. I won’t let that happen,” she wrote in her resignation letter to Clinton, adding, “I am who I am and I will continue to speak up.”

  2. Hi John:

Women, the likes of HRC & Ferraro are pregnant with injustice & can bear only lies, and more lies of the same. Like Gollum they’re running in vain hopes & murderous intentions after their precious to eventually cast themselves into the fiery chasms of Mount Doom. A certain percentage of women will swallow such ominous bait. Too bad.

To portray women continuously in a state of victimhood undermines the genuine achievements of many-a-woman. Therefore, the insidious attempts of HRC’s camp shall boomerang explosively back into their own faces. Through self-flagellation ad nauseam they advocate suffering unto themselves and then attempt to explain the agony by electing Barack Obama, O Team, & supporters as cause of it. Such misplaced angry accusations of blame get aided by the proverbial spin of msm in exposing the depths of their own monstrocity. What a joke & its on THEM – s e r i o u s l y.

True, the race is not over, but Senator Obama is showing true statesmanship in weathering these storms. Moment by moment he moves as a silent relentless force ahead with quiet confidence through a perilous political minefield in securing his nomination & presidency. All of time has elected him to be the 44th POTUS(* . *)!

Obnoxious vampiric flies as HRC & her aides need to be pushed aside with deliberate strokes into the nothingness of their irrelevancy. How? To remain coldly indifferent to these hags who with their machievellian schemes try to appease the insatiable hunger and perverse greed of their diabolical ambitions.

I look upon them as transients, phantomlike nightmares who bear no substance whatsoever. So what is there to f)alse e)vidences a)ppearing real? Tilopa, a mystic once said: ‘Cut the root of the tree of fear and the leaves will wither; cut the root of a fearful mind and its bondage falls. The light of any lamp dispels in a moment the darkness of long miseries; the strong light of the MIND in but a flash will burn the veil of ignorance. One can thus break away from all distinctions, distractions and remain at ease, loose and natural’.

Barack Obama’s sheer presence on the policital & global scene is in and of itself an extraordinary meeting which has given us participants ample key insights to transform within an all-embracing life-enhancing vision. For those audacious enough, it’s a vertical jump beyond all words & symbols … A sudden experience with the Ultimate. And the door opens to understanding, acceptance and transcendence. The significance of We Are The Ones We Have Been Waiting For, becomes all the more relevant and momentous.

As if the inner flame once awakened becomes unwavering as it has gone through a transformation. One cannot possibly belong to the old world anymore. This new being knows we have had enough and cannot be tempted or lured back into the darkness of ages. The new human being’s perception of reality is different. His/her concern is to leave a legacy of beauty, maturity and wholeness behind which instill awe and amazement of future generations when they reflect upon this unprecedented moment in time.

Fictitious women as HRC & Ferraro know absolutely nothing of the ‘Female Way’, as a matter of fact their violence mirrors the unconscious armageddon in the darkest interiors of their old and weary being. How pitiful they are with their monkeyish antics. They construe a clear and real present danger unto themselves. In the Light of all eternity they absolutely do not matter and, we can mercifully erase them from our view.

I am a female and cannot sit idle to concur with the disempowerment and limitations of poor self-definition as propounded by HRC/Ferraro. I won’t succumb or be wooed over by such fossilized views on ‘womanhood’. These bonds of bondage are way too detrimental and marr the full expression of authenticity and grace of the Female Soul. It’s preposturous. Although, I have gleaned a glimpse into the mindset of undeniable mental and emotional dysfunction as well as its treacherous output. I have decided to avoid it as the p l a g u e!!!!!

Ferraro is in a different league than Rev. wright. She preys on continued strife, chaos & disunity to keep people safely inside the known corridors of perception where people are accustomed to the familiar complacency even it perpetuates hurt, sorrow and mediocrity. Ferraro only wants to cement people’s distrust for the unknown to cleverly prey on unconscious fears.
Whereas, I feel, Rev Wright tried to stir up the fires of smouldering hurts which have been largely left unnoticed because of some political agenda. He fell short in his choice of words or delivery, but at least presented Americans with an opportunity to take stock of their combined history, hurts, and setbacks for certain groups of people.

I know we’re all interconnected thus these vibes of the fierce urgency of Now will and shall erase the vile attempts caused by these women’s brand of clintonism, and the vicious core Republicans circling like bloodthirsty vultures into NOUGHT.
Their lack of comprehension and complete disregard for human intelligence and sensitivity is as astute as their failure to acutely underestimate the new human beings – we can and will prevail and not buy into the same ole’.

  3. Ferraro is not a true American in my eyes, and IS a true racist. I used to look up to her as a leader in the democratic party, but not any more. She is nothing but a spoiled child that didn’t get her way.

She says her words were taken out of context when she used the racist card against Barack, but what she said about Barack brushing his shoulder and calling HRC Annie Oakley is utterly ridiculous. He was campaigning and defending himself. Is that not all right? He has nothing but respect for HRC.

It just floors me that some of the HRC supporters can’t do math, and they feel the nomination is being stolen from them. SHE IS’NT IN THE LEAD. She can’t change the rules to get in the lead.

I just think that she was expected to be the winner and they can’t except anything else, and they all look like fools, especially you, Ferraro.
