Come Judgement Day

Question Two. Response required

Briefly outline the state of your campaign, its current financial status and whether there are any issues similar to those of our fictitious candidate you have to deal with which might compromise your candidature for the Presidency if nominated.

Hillary Clinton response……… I am leading in the popular vote I we include Michigan and Florida. In my opinion Senator Obama can’t win the big states. I am the only one who can win against the Republicans.

Document ends…………Story continues

When the cleaning lady arrived home from work that evening, she investigated some of the websites which referred to Hillary Clinton’s past scandals and then understood why Clinton had declined to respond to the Committee’s questions.

PS. Dear Reader ( Sites which contain real articles about Hillary Clinton and her campaign are accessible via the 3 news links provided in Question 2)

The story resumes..

From that moment the cleaning lady formerly a Clinton supporter became an Obama supporter, yet importantly she chose to remain a Democrat. She felt very pleased with herself. She had given away one candidate only to get a better one with a better chance.  Now she thought .. come on November.  She then proceeded to tear up the committee document and belatedly consigned it to its original fate - the WPB.

The next morning at 10 am sharp, HRC with Ed Rendell in tow arrived at Party HQ to find Senator Obama already talking informally with members of the committee. With the parties now present the Chairman thanked the Senators for their efforts and proceeded with the formal announcement. He had arranged for a media conference to be conducted by the Party Chairman Howard Dean to start at exactly 10.30 am. In time for the midday prime time news bulletins.

 The Announcement

Ladies and Gentlemen, following submissions and a presentation by both candidates yesterday, the committee in its deliberations last evening concluded that Senator Hillary Clinton being unable to satisfactorily answer the questions put by the committee should now end her campaign and graciously concede.  A Party media conference has been arranged for 10.30 am.

It wasn’t a groan – it was more like a screech from Clinton. Ed Rendell for the first time looked as though he had just stepped in something. Oh the pain of it all. Barack was feeling a different kind of pain, like the good news pain you endure, until you can blurt it out to someone you love. I call it the ” You’ll never guess what pain.

When Hillary Clinton regained some measure of composure, the Chairman resumed, “Senator Obama has more than satified this committee with his responses which are  verifiable and factual.  We are delighted to announce that his candidature as the Party’s nominee is unanimously supported by the uncommitted Superdelegates”.

“The National conference in Denver will officially endorse and celebrate Senator Obama’s nomination as the Democratic Party’s candidate to contest the general election for President of the United States of America in November.  Congratulations Senator Obama”.

Ladies and Gentlemen, now we can call on all of our Democrats to unite, to close ranks and join hands to work together under that wonderful and winning battle cry of, Yes we can.

With our eyes firmly fixed on the prize, I declare this meeting closed - Now we can hear the Party Chairman reveal to the world the name we hope to see as our 44th President - Barak Obama!  Yes we can”

  1. Thank you, John, for another magnificent piece! What contagious Rapture for most and, for some alas, only the justified misery and agony of hell. O, what a perfect day, what you sow you shall reap! O holy day, where we said no to the enemies of the Soul. Those tyrants who only know how to instill complaceny through condemnation, fear and guilt instead of taking action for real change.

Our moment in time, here and now, where we say no to the postponement for a richer way of being, having, doing and sharing.
    One fine day where our inner visions manifested outwardly as beacons, torches of that precious Light beyond all darkness-the Audacity of Hope, a l i v e, a n e w, a f r e s h.

The silent, imperceptible forcefield seemingly unmoving yet moving with infinite speed rippling across & towards ever expanding circles of righteous living. Everywhere its oceanic flavour will have the same taste of a fair humanity, a fair globe, a fair trade starting today and tomorrow.

Lady Galadriel of ‘The Lord of the Rings,’ sums it all up beautifully. She says:”Change … I smell it in the air, I feel it in the earth, I feel it in the waters.” In touch with that * 0 * Potential, that gentle *0* Equilibrium!

Let’s go *0*bama*0*8, let’s stay the course. Ours is a compelling force of vigilance, love, grace, respect, dignity, discipline and poise. From Chi Passion’s cauldron of fire, I send you extra ammo of Potency, Urgency, Stealth, Courage, Energy, Prosperity and LaserFocus, O,* YES * WE * CAN Wishing y’all lovely, lovely days.
