MA. Did this in Caesar seem ambitious? ; HRC. Not really, we Clintons want nothing, but to serve the American people and our beautiful ( but it won’t be if Obama is the president) country.
MA. When that the poor have cried, Caesar hath wept; HRC. Bill is good at crocodile tears. In New Hampshire, I showed ‘em I can turn on the taps too.
MA. Ambition should be made of sterner stuff: HRC. Women love to see a man cry. But a woman crying goes over even better with voters. Another reason not to make Obama the nominee.
MA. Yet Brutus says he was ambitious; HRC. I said from the outset that Obama was uppity. Some people don’t mind, but really, it is not his turn.
MA. And Brutus is an honourable man. HRC. America can’t win against terrorism with an honourable President. The opposition would know his/her limits. That’s no way to win. Look at Vietnam. One hand tied behind our backs. Nuke ‘em I say.
MA. You all did see that on the Lupercal; HRC. You saw me in the Capitol and in the primary debates, I said I was honoured to debate Obama. I’ve changed my mind. I don’t support him. It’s a women’s perogative.
MA. I thrice presented him a kingly crown; HRC. At Amity and at Obama fundraisers to reduce my primary debt, I had to say I supported Obama.
MA. Which he did thrice refuse: was this ambition?; HRC. More than once he has said nothing should be taken for granted. He believes he has to earn the people’s trust.
MA. Yet Brutus says he was ambitious; HRC. Of course he is. That’s why he was so hard to beat in the Primaries. You have to be ambitious to achieve.
MA. And, sure, he is an honourable man; HRC. Obama is not going to have as much fun as Bill in the Oval Office if he makes President is he?
MA. I speak not to disprove what Brutus spoke; HRC. Obama wasn’t first to play the race card. It was Geraldine Ferraro - No, not Ferrari, and me, - we make a very good tag team for hardball politics
MA. But here I am to speak what I do know; HRC. I am qualified to be President now, Obama may be in around eight years. He will just have to prove it.
MA. You all did love him once, not without cause; HRC. I liked him better when I was in the lead. Liking is not important. Winning by discrediting your opponent is the goal.
MA. What cause withholds you then, to mourn for him?; HRC. When I get the nomination, I’ll commiserate with a smile and tell him its just politics.
MA. O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts; HRC. Bill and I had this planned. We are only doing it for the country. We have made a lot of money out of our political connections. We could just as easily be sitting on the beach in some exotic private haven.
MA. And men have lost their reason. Bear with me; HRC. The Conference can handle this change in the nominee - Democrats need a Clinton in the White House, not some uppity nobody who presumes too much.
MA. My heart is in the coffin there with Caesar; HRC. No regrets here. A President doesn’t have regrets. A President just does what a President thinks they can get through congress or around it. The result is all that counts, not the process.
MA. And I must pause till it come back to me;
HRC. I won’t apologise for attempting to seize the nomination. Only I can beat McCain. No one is going to beat a Clinton. Bill and I know how to play hardball. We play to win, no rules, whatever it takes. There will be no “fairytales” for Barack Obama - Friends, Democrats and Countrymen - This is your comeback queen - Yes I Am - I think?

A Telling Thoughts comment :Thank heavens the above is only fiction. They say that truth is stranger than fiction; let us hope that something along these lines doesn’t apply to the nomination proceedings at the Denver convention. The only impediment to an Obama Presidency is the fanatical determination of the Clintons and their surrogates to have HRC replace Barack Obama as the nominee. That is fact - not fiction. Such a catastrophic turnabout would guarantee a McCain Presidency. America cannot afford to pay such a price to satisfy Clinton ambition. It is time for the Clintons to fade from political life - the future can no longer afford them.

Just a correction. You wrote Obama instead of Osama. Should read, “OK, So Bill failed to get Osama”.
Thank you for that Cindy. Well done. My typo error has now been unmistakably attended. Editor. JH
Do you really think she is that bad, that she will say something that will work against Obama, rather than for him?
