In just fifty three days, on November 4th 2008, America risks witnessing the prospect of seeing an unqualified, academically challenged, age challenged, knowledge challenged, work ethic challenged, temperament challenged, ego inflated, disingenuous, warmongering and always reckless John McCain, elected as the Republican President of the United States of America.
It begs the question of American voters. Is is more important to be a loyal Republican, Democrat, or whatever else? Or is it a citizen’s duty to be a loyal American first, and vote for the person they actually believe is best qualified to deal with their country’s problems. In these troubled times, surely it is America’s good fortune in Obama, to have a candidate contesting this election, who given the opportunity and time, may prove to be – “The One”.
Now that Democrat Senator Barack Obama has returned to the United States from his week long sojourn through the theatres of war in Iraq and Afghanistan, including meetings with the leaders of Iraq, Afghanistan, Germany, France and Great Britain and addressing a 200,000 strong public rally in Berlin, it is time to take a closer look at the qualifications of his opponent, the Republican Senator for Arizona, John McCain and another former Republican for fair measure.
The obstacle to which I refer is not Obama’s Republican opponent Senator John McCain.I am specifically referring to one of the most insidious elements in US society today. The mainstream American media. A corrosive, politically biased force with attitudes and an agenda capable of pervading and eroding the foundation principles of a democratic nation state.
With those powerful words Donna Brazile stood tall. She sent a signal to every DNC member charged with the responsibility of making a fair decision on Florida and Michigan that if America was to have regard for the basic principles endowed by the country’s founding fathers, respect for and adherence to rules and laws was essential.

INDIANAPOLIS (Reuters) – Democrat Barack Obama said on Friday he would fine-tune his presidential campaign pitch and remind voters of his humble roots after a defeat in Pennsylvania fuelled in part by his failure to win working-class voters.

Caucus News from Wyoming! Senator Barack Obama slammed another nail into the Clinton campaign coffin today with a win of 59% vs Clinton 40% despite her husband and daughter actively campaigning in the state over the past few days. The surest way for the Democrats to lose the general election is to nominate Hillary Clinton. She is the candidate who divides the Democrats and unites and empowers the Republicans. She would singlehandedly be responsible for the shift of many Independent voters to the Republican fold, together with a massive swathe of Obama Democrats and disillusioned Republicans. It would take the Democratic Party decades to recover.
