A Vice President Clinton?

With the Clinton campaign in tatters following the results in North Carolina and Indiana, it now appears the next machievellian element of the Clinton strategy has been activated. It’s Clinton’s plan B. If they can’t change the rules to steal the nomination, plan B is to get within a heartbeat of the Oval Office. The Vice Presidency.

Come Judgement Day

After all of the debates, all of the caucuses, all of the primaries, all of the expense, all of the public infighting, and the possibility of a Party split of such magnitude, the Republications would be gifted the keys to the White House; the burning question for the fence sitting Superdelegates must be; When should we act and how should we act? It represents a direct challenge to Nancy Pelosi herself, who as the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and the Party’s most senior Democrat, is only two heartbeats from the Presidency. As Speaker she is the holder of the third highest office in the country. How dangerous are these Clinton friends, donors and supporters? In their nature and conduct, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama sit at separate tables in life. Oil and water do not mix, neither does such an implausible political partnership.

A Man of the People – For the People!

In actual fact the Republicans do not want Hillary Clinton to lose. She is their preferred quarry. The polls say that McCain would win against her but lose comprehensively to Obama!
As rays of early sunlight streamed through my window this morning, my computer screen trumpeted this message. “Eleven straight for Obama!” Eleven I thought.  Have I missed something? By [...]
