The ABC America / Obama Vs Clinton Primary Debate

It is difficult not to smile wryly at what the ABC tried to do in the debate. A lot of expectation and emotional energy on this side was invested in the event and that means we risk suffering an equal measure of disappointment unless we recognise the opportunity we as Barack supporters gained.

Unfortunately no one saw a debate. All we were witness to, was a clumsy attempt at a premeditated media ambush. Fortunately the ABC ploy backfired. Actually we should thank them, it allowed their target Barack Obama to win another important moral victory without having to spend one advertising dollar.

Unfortunately as Barack clearly understood, it was the voters who were again denied. A serious debate is supposed to allow people to compare the attitudes and policy positions of the respective candidates. And hell will freeze over before the Clinton connections in the US media will allow that.

Solution:
More quality Obama radio and TV advertising funded by increased fund raising. In the present environment, that is the only sure way to get Barack’s unpolluted message to the people of America. Wednesday was only a dress rehearsal for what is to come.

Once more up to the breach dear friends.
